In Gen chapter 9 the descendants of Canaan were to be stricken by God to eventually become “servants of servants.” Servants historically were usually paid with food, an occasional garment or coin, and the security of being part of the group. Servant of servants is simply an expression that means extreme poverty. The servant of another servant (if any can literally exist) would certainly be the poorest people of the Earth, poorer than any other of the people of the Earth.
So, to find the Canaanites of the world you only need to look for them, and it doesn’t take long to identify them when you find them. They are the black people of the Earth wherever they are in a large collective, less the few high kings, and various potentates, they are poorer than any other people of the Earth. They do differ slightly culturally and linguistically, but what is any significant difference?
The fundamental question is: Are all black people of the Earth, including blacks in the Americas, Canaanites?
What does Biblical Hebrew Israelites (BHI) have to say about this? Let’s look at how BHI define this most serious issue. What makes this a most serious issue is that YAH (God) has put two witnesses or conditions on this Earth that that prove the existence of the Creator. One is the Canaanite and the other is the Israelite. To observe or study either of these two groups and to try to understand their saga, can only lead one to the conclusion that God (YAH) or Creator must exist, because of words spoken thousands of years ago are true today, yesterday and tomorrow, and the truth is painted on about one third or the Earth’s land mass.
Biblical Hebrew Israelite (BHI) philosophy is that black people in the America’s are the true descendants of the Israelites of the Bible, and not the Ashkenazim Jews of Europe.
Let’s compare the Ashkenazim of Europe to the black people’s of America’s, according to the Scripture. It should be noted that when the Israelites departed from Egypt they were a “mixed multitude,” (Ex 12:38) that means all the families of man, they blended in Canaan (Israel), that way when YAH dealt with Israel He was dealing with a fair representation of all of mankind. When they were driven out of Israel in the year 70 of the Christian era (CE) they went into all of the nations of the Earth.
The information contained on the Biblical Hebrew Israelite website is lengthy, and it is not very practical to reprint all of it here. The exercises in Lev 26 and De 28 should be copied from the BHI website and read thoroughly to make sure this commentary has taken nothing out of context. The information from the BHI website has been broken down by paragraphs to allow pinpointing of the item of disagreement of philosophy, so it will be helpful to follow the BHI information while reading this commentary. http://www.hebrewisraelites.org

Paragraph 6:
BHI: A people (of the same race and nationality) who are on the bottom socially, politically, economically and are the most despised, rejected and down trodden of society.(of the same race and nationality) is in parenthesis because it is not in the Scripture, the Israelites were driven or shipped to all of the nations of the Earth, mixed, and eventually became those ethnics and color (personal appearance), while retaining Israelite ethnic and heritage. The rest of the paragraph fits the Ashkenazim (European Jew’s) as well as the ancient Canaanites and blacks in the America’s. Henry Ford said the Ashkenazim were kicked out of every country they went to.
Paragraph 8
(The people whose forefathers were brought to this part of the world in the bottom of slave ships.)
This is an important part of BHI doctrine, which states that no other people were brought to the America’s as slaves in slave ships (De 28:68 modified). This verse actually reads (back to Egypt in ships). At any rate, this prophecy or “curse” could have been fulfilled by the Roman’s in 70 CE. It would make perfect sense to ship captured Israelites back to Egypt rather than send them by land caravan. Land caravans are slow and require much more food, water and soldiers, to say nothing about loss of prisoners along the way. BHI justifies this changing of the Scripture by using terms like “America is a type of Egypt” or “a type of bondage.” But if that is the correct interpretation then the Roman’s could have also sent Israelites to Libya, Spain, Rome or England by ship for barter or to work on Roman projects, we don’t know for sure, so BHI should show a second witness (2Co 13:1) to prove their interpretation. This cannot be proven or disproved according to the Scripture, as BHI challenges, because Biblical history with exception of some unfulfilled prophecy ends with the resurrection of Messiah.
Also De 28:68 states that YAH will bring you (Israel) into Egypt again with ships, meaning Israel was to return to Egypt, in ships. African slaves did not return to the Americas.
Paragraphs 13&14 (BHI)
BHI: (THEY THAT HATE YOU SHALL REIGN (rule) OVER YOU)
The enemies of Israel were the Assyrians, Babylonians Romans etc. Americans or Europeans (other than Rome) have never been “enemies” to the true Israelites. Slavery was outlawed in most European countries, and less than 3% of Americans were involved in slavery at the time of Negro slavery in America, and it was the Americans who put an end to the vile African (Canaanite) practice. Black African slavery was the result of extreme economic depravation. It is a stretch to say that Lev 26:17 applies to black American slavery.
Paragraphs 16-21
One could say these apply to Israelites, but they also can be applied to a group of physically blessed and gifted people that are kept down economically and impoverished by YAH, for a purpose.
Paragraph 22
BHI: Verse 37: and they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and you shall have no power to stand before your enemies.
This curse fits Israelites under judgment but it also fits some of the Biblical descriptions of the Canaanites when the Israelites entered the Promised Land, (falling on one another, blindness).
Paragraph 23
BHI: This verse could not refer to the Jews because they have stood up and defeated their enemies in every military battle they’ve had since 1948.
The Ashkenazim are successful only to the degree that YAH allows. If their judgment has drawn to a close, then true Israel will be successful at whatever they set their hands to do.
Paragraphs 24-27
BHI: no power to stand against enemies.
Nothing in the universe can occur that isn’t caused or allowed by YAH.The Canaanites have not been able to stand against a strong enemy since the Israelite invasion of Canaan. This was probably the time that YAH brought the “servant of servants” curse to bare. Prior to the invasion, the Canaanites were the masters of agricultural achievement, proving that a people can only achieve and prosper to the level that is deemed by YAH. Canaanites (blacks) still possess these superior qualities (blessings), proving that the blessings or YAH are without recall, and they occasionally pop out in the form of people like Booker T. Washington and George Washington Carver, (modern Canaanite scientists). Obama, Winfrey, Jay-Z, and Farrakhan are a few typical Canaanite potentates referred to earlier. They do magnificently well for themselves, but the only direction that the lower 99% of black people knows is down. However they are proof that the Canaanite population (of the Earth and Americas) is not without leadership, or talent, (contrary to what white supremacists and some evolutionists might claim), because the gifts of YAH are without recall, there is more right (blessings and talents) with black people than the other peoples of the Earth. So, why are black people so economically depressed?
Paragraphs 28-30
BHI: You shall perish among the heathen and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.
This could fit Israelites in the past and in Europe, but it also fits blacks in other black nations such as Haiti and black Africa, all of it is rooted in “extreme poverty.” This does not connect today’s black America to ancient Israel. America is not a land of heathens, and black people are not being “eaten up” any more than anyone else.
Paragraph 33
BHI: Because the African Americans are also suffering from an identity crisis (Is 1:3) the masses of us don’t know we are the true Israelites.
Some Jews have also forgotten their true identity; Adolph Hitler may have been one of them. It is impossible to know how many Euro Jew’s have melted into the nations they were in, and lost the knowledge of their ancestry.
Paragraph 34
BHI: “The majority of African Americans have no idea why so much misfortune has fallen upon them, and so it is very hard for us to accept this punishment. Many of us believe we are suffering because of the white man. That’s only half the truth.”
The white man is not “half” the cause of American Negro economic failure; and black people are not being “punished,” we are living in the age of Grace, and reap what we sow. If the BHI truly believe American Negro unhappiness is a result of punishment for sins of the past, then they shouldn’t be blaming what they perceive as the instruments of YAH’s hand (the white man), they should be calling on YAH, and no one else.
Perhaps this BHI philosophy thing is not very well thought out. If anyone needs wisdom, let him ask YAH.(Jas 1:5)
Paragraphs 35-41
These apply to true Israel, including paragraph 39, which states: BHI: “notice how scripture keeps referring to the “land of Israel’s enemies,” as a place where Israel will reside.” The Middle East is the land of true Israel’s enemies, and some European countries that crushed their Jewish population, but the U.S.A. is not the “land of true Israel’s enemies.” The U.S. is not the “enemy” of black people either.
Biblical Hebrew Israelites have not proven the connection between the ancient Israelites and black people in the America’s, in the Book of Leviticus. So the original question still stands:
Are the black people of the America’s descendants of the Israelites or Canaanites?
Perhaps BHI can shed more light on the subject in the Book of Deuteronomy.

Paragraph 1
BHI: In this chapter we will find more curses that were placed on the children of Israel beside the ones written in Leviticus 26…I assure you all 68 verses apply to the “blacks” of the Americas.
We will see if all 68 verses apply to “blacks” of the Americas.
Paragraph 6
BHI: FACT: If you look at any “inner city” in the U.S. you will find death and destruction like nowhere else. They look like they belong to a war torn country. These cities are largely populated by African Americans…wherever you find a large population of blacks living in rural/country areas; you will find the same death and destruction like you find the urban city areas.
This is not a description of the ancient Israelites, (even under judgment) according to the Scripture, history or archeology. This certainly describes a people stricken (by YAH) to extreme poverty, and trying to alleviate this condition by violating the laws of YAH and man. Anytime ancient Israel became “war torn,” it was caused by invading outsiders coming in, not the Israelites within, mistreating one another and reeking “death and destruction” upon one another.

Paragraph 11
BHI: Verse 20: YAWH shall send upon you cursing (an evil oath of misfortune, trouble) vexation (Torment, Distress and Worry). And rebuke (to express sharp stern disapproval of) AND UNTIL YOU PERISH QUICKLY; BECAUSE OF THE WICKEDNESS OF YOUR DOINGS WHEREBY YOU HAVE FORSAKEN ME.
This should not be confused with extreme poverty of the Canaanites; the Canaanites are not being punished for sin, their sins don’t stink any worse than anyone else’s, but have historically have been given abundant blessings above the rest of humanity to carry them through life. Neither Israelites (Jew’s) nor Canaanites (black people) have “perished,” especially in the U.S.
Paragraph 12
BHI: Just about everything black Americans have tried to do to improve our living conditions as a people, has failed. We have tried the political system (VOTING) the educational system (attaining college degrees) and economics (capitalism). But all these genres have been useless to us. Other ethnic groups have been successful in bringing their people to a decent standard of living, when they use those same systems (political, educational and economic). We have been in this country longer than almost every ethnic group except the Native Americans.
Paragraph 13
BHI: We are behind all those other groups in just about every category of society. Every time we try to make a move in politics it fails, every time we try to make a move in economics it fails, and so on and so on…
Paragraphs 12&13
This could describe certain points in Biblical Israelite history, but it better describes “servant of servants” Canaanites.
Paragraphs 14-18
Rants about the horrible mistreatment of blacks in America (lynching and burning etc.), all of this also describes the mistreatment of Ashkenazim Jews by the Nazi’s and others, through history, the Nazi’s even commissioned a special SS group from the Middle East, made up of Jew hating Moslems (mud people.) They did every vile and horrible thing the human mind can think up to the Jews while killing them. The term Holocaust means to burn. It is puzzling to understand (or not) how the Aryan supremacist could find a common cause to join with the Moslem (mud people to the Nazi’s). Could it be the Jews are the true Israelites? It should be easier for Lions sit down with Hyenas.
Paragraphs 19-26
BHI: As was previously stated in Leviticus 26: we haven’t historically been able to stand against our enemies as the Jews have. So if they are the children of Israel according to scripture, how are they able to defeat their enemies?
Only in recent decades have the Jews been able to defeat their enemies. Prior to the last half of the twentieth century the Jews have been at the mercy of anyone who YAH raised up against them. Canaanite weakness comes strictly from economic depredation, it takes money to recompense soldiers to be able to build and outfit an army to protect the people. Negro slavery itself is a product of a poor economy, a way to acquire cash or barter was to sell people. Prior to the 16th century, Europeans had not seen slavery since the Roman Empire, and at that neither the Romans nor anyone else on Earth other than black Africans raided their own land to acquire slaves to sell. That’s poorer than any of the other peoples of the Earth. So all that stems from Negro slavery, with the horrors that came with it, is rooted in economic depravity. We as yet haven’t answered our original question. Are the black people of the America’s descendants of the Israelites or the Canaanites?
Paragraphs 27-28
BHI: Jewish soldiers, celebrating the capture of Jerusalem during the Six Day War.
This again could indicate the end of true Israel’s judgment (curses) and YAW is moving along with His plan, and fulfilling prophesies every inch of the way.
Paragraphs 29-32
BHI: The last half of verse 25 says: Israel shall be REMOVED into all the kingdoms of the earth. To be removed means to be moved by force, this is telling us someone (Israel’s enemies) is going to come and move them by force. The majority of them will not “migrate” into all kingdoms of the earth. This exact situation has happened to the blacks of the America’s. We were REMOVED (by force, kidnapped/stolen) from the west coast of Africa…
Another similarity to Jewish history. When Jew’s fled persecution from one country to another, that IS being removed by force, not migrating willingly.
Paragraphs 33-39
BHI: It is insane and foolish for African Americans to imitate those who have oppressed them for over 400 years. We want to be like our oppressors, so we dress like them, try to talk like them and even try to look like them. All of this is done so that we might be accepted by the dominant society, but all we ever get is a big slap in the face.
When the original Israelites went into captivity they were not contrary to the societies they were brought into. They were respectful and served their captors and new Kings well.
The slave master’s religion is/was Christianity, any problem with that should be taken up with YAH. We are still looking for guidance to answer our original question, not looking for the black man’s opinion of how bad white people are.
Paragraphs 39-41
Violation of the laws of YAH and man to alleviate effects of extreme poverty may have something to do with it.
Paragraph 40
This applies to Israelites when under judgment, but also to the Canaanite norm.
BHI:If you get 15 Black leaders in a room you will have 30 different answers. And a brawl.
Paragraph 43
BHI: In 1832 a Senator named Henry Berry said to the Virginia House of Delegates: We have as far as possible closed every avenue by which the LIGHT (truth) may enter the slave’s mind. If we could extinguish the capacity to see the light, our work would be complete. They would be on the level with the beast of the field.
It doesn’t matter what some Senator said, YAH is in control, and there were hundreds of thousands of blacks outside of Virginia and elsewhere in the Americas who didn’t have their minds erased.
Paragraphs 44-50
BHI: The last half of verse 29 says Israel will not prosper in their ways and shall be only oppressed and robbed always.
This prosperity of the ‘Jew’s,” when compared to economic failure of the black people of the Earth could mean that YAH is lifting the curses of Leviticus and Deuteronomy, and the “Jew’s” are the true Israelites, and the black people of the Earth are the Canaanites, keeping in mind that attributing the works of the Spirit of God, to Satan, is the unforgivable sin.(Mk 3:22-30)
Paragraphs 51-52
BHI: ……Frederick Douglass, Nat Turner, Marcus Garvey, Malcolm X, Elijah Muhammad, and a host of others who are just too numerous to name here. All of these men with all of their wisdom and education have not been able to save us, from the destruction we face.
The honorable Elijah (All white people are devils) Muhammad? It would be good for him if he got himself “saved.” Why are black people gravitated to someone who isn’t able to be more original than that? Klansmen and white supremacists have been saying that about black people for at least 150 years. Could it be that this is one way YAW has messed up the thinking processes (Wisdom) of black people to cause them to do whatever consistently brings them to extreme poverty? This is just one example of how the plan of YAH is accomplished. The easiest thing the so-called “white” man ever did was to leave the black man in the damned slavery he brought to the Americas with him, the hardest thing “white America” ever did was to put an end to the vile ancient practice, and the two goals the “white man” set for himself and failed miserably to accomplish, was to put a man on the moon and bring the black man (Canaanite) to economic equality, well yes, by the blessing of YAH he was successful at one of those.
Paragraphs 53-70
These only show a similarity of the black struggle and Ashkenazi history with exception to children being placed into adoption and foster care because of parental problems. None of the black children are taken away because they are found to be “Hebrew Israelites.” All of these things happened to the Jews. Not all is recorded in the history books, all of these prophesies (curses) were perpetuated by the Nazi’s, on the Jews, because they were Jews, not because they were criminals, or drug heads.

The nations of Western Europe were probably not known to the ancient Israelites, as stated earlier. This curse or prophecy could have been fulfilled during the Roman period.
YAH is not required to show man all prophecies that are, or will be fulfilled.

We just got done reading in paragraphs 71-78 that blacks have been driven goofier than the rest of us. Many or most black people seem to be drawn to the more charismatic preachers that articulate some form of “all white people are devils, or stupid” incorporated into their message, no matter what the brand of religion. (Wisdom?) That isn’t the search for YAH and salvation if it is primarily based on the disparaging of an entire color group. Some blacks search for YAW, do to fear and insecurity that is brought on by the many ramifications of extreme poverty (that’s a good thing). When they find YAW, they may not get what they want, but they will definitely get what they need… eternal life.
Paragraph 87
BHI: This prophecy couldn’t fit the Jews because 80-90% of them are what they call secular (meaning they don’t believe in a “god”). They aren’t serving any gods; the ones who are “religious” are in the minority.
The Jew’s of today are no different (spiritually) than the people who worshipped the golden calf at Mt. Sinai during the time of Moses (and YAH is tenaciously loyal to them.) The ancient Canaanites were deeply and passionately “religious” even to the point of sacrificing children to their gods. (Some of the abominations listed in the Bible that justified the Israelite invasion). Today’s black Americans are almost as “religious” as the ancient Canaanites. (Those who lack wisdom will believe just about anything.)

BHI; Astonishment means a sad, pitiful amazement, so remarkable as to elicit disbelief. The general attitude of some black people is so disgraceful that it motivates other races to observe us with astonishment. This is the reason many people are always asking the question “why are blacks behind”? They should be ahead of other groups since they have been here for over 400 years. African Americans have become an astonishment to the world, other people are looking at us and wondering why we can’t and haven’t prospered in the richest nation on earth as other ethnic groups do (including the Jews).
BHI; The word proverbs and bywords actually have the same meaning here in the 37th verse. A proverb and byword are objects of general reproach, derision, an epithet or scornful nickname. These proverbs and bywords are nicknames that are used in a scornful manner in substitution for our true nationally. Names such as Nigger, Negro, Coon, Blackey, Spade, Porch Monkey and so on and so on. These names are without a doubt proverbs and bywords, but so are the names African Americans and Blacks, because they also are a substitution for Israel’s true nationality, let me explain…
African Americans (Canaanites) are not the only people that Anglo and Aryan Americans have given “precious” nicknames to, let ME explain:
Irish people have been referred to as lace curtain Irish (the more refined ones), the general majority have been referred to as pig shit Irish, Italians have been assigned a variety of cut to the bone names, dagos, wops, spaghetti benders, gombas, meatballs etc. Jews also have a variety of derogatory names, kikes, hinnies, etc. the French have been referred to as pussey eaters, and Polish Americans are called hunkies, bo hunks, and pollock’s. Orientals are zips, zipper heads, gooks and chinks. Latin Americans are wetbacks and spic’s, and Middle Eastern people are called camel jockeys and sand niggers. Blacks of Africa (Canaanites, whom are poorer than the blacks in the US) are not viewed any differently than the blacks of America, are also called names by whites, Jews and non-black Hamites (Arabs). Latinos refer to whites as gringos. Blacks call whites honkeys, ghosts, crackers, and devils, and a new one, Italians are garlic noses, blacks also refer to Jews as bloodsuckers. Even the Prophet Mohammad couldn’t resist a good one when referring to Canaanites; he said something like, “Let he who is without sin cast the first…raison. (Hadith No 662, Vol 1)
Anyway, being assigned a derogatory name doesn’t cause anybody to become an Israelite, (or plum forget their ethnic roots), otherwise everybody except Anglos and Aryans would be Hebrew Israelites.
Where is the proof that the blacks of the Americas are descendants of Abraham?
Under; The physical appearance of the ancient Hebrew Israelites:
BHI has done a wonderful job in showing that the ancient Israelites were a wooly haired, dark or black skinned people. We also know the Canaanites are a wooly haired, dark or black skinned people, (today they are known by their extreme economic poverty, or poorer than any of the other peoples of the Earth).
Let’s look into the “physical appearance” of the ancient Canaanites. When Moses sent spies into Canaan, (Nu 13&14) they reported that the Canaanites were a large in size (giants), and a ferocious looking people, some of the Israelites even suggested that they might be better off to return to Egypt. So, we can prove with certainty the Israelites “looked” very much different than the ancient Canaanites (even though they may of been the same color.) The Biblical Israelite physical description of the ancient Canaanites IS a description of black Americans today, with exception that the ancient Canaanites accomplished great prosperity and built a magnificent civilization with their many blessings (that are without recall), like that bunch of grapes that required two (2) Israelites to carry between each other on a pole, this is not doable today by modern agriculture.

BHI: Is. 42:22 but this, a people robbed and spoiled all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses:
BHI: The children of Israel will be the majority of the people in jails and prisons, in the lands where they reside in. Their men, women, and children will be hid or locked away in prison houses.
Black American children are not “hid, or locked away in prison houses.” Black American adults are also not “hid” in prisons; they are in prisons because of convictions of criminal deeds.
On the other hand the Ashkenazi Jew’s, men women and children were “hid” in concentration camps by the Nazi’s, not because they were criminals, but because of whom they are/were.
Summary:
To those of us who are neither black nor Jew, it might be said; why bother with this at all? It is simply heathens raging and imagining a vain thing, (Ps 2). Of course it is important, the penalties are high for those who claim to be Israelites but are not, whether the true Israelites are blacks in America or European Jew’s, or some other group none of us ever considered, but more important is the tangible evidence that has been 4,000 years in the making, that the Creator has drawn across this Earth, proving the existence of the Creator to the countless souls of this non-believing world, waiting for some private visitation by the Creator, when the truth is all around them. Also it answers the ancient question, “which god, which scripture, is the living and true God?”
Therefore all other forms of religion can now be discarded, especially Islam, and the Qur’an, which is inadequately based on the true Scripture, the Bible.
When the obvious Canaanite claims to be the Israelite, then what happens to the two witnesses, which have been 4,000 years in the making? Right! The truth becomes obscure. That’s why the judgment for that “Synagogue of Satan”(Re 2:9) and “leading even a little one astray”(Luke 17:22) is so severe. Perhaps we should all make sure of our salvation, and that what we believe IS the truth.
Let’s revisit the story of Cain and Able:
Of course the Creator knew where Abel’s remains were laying when He asked Cain that question. Cain evidentially understood the question and gave the correct answer, that only God is able to “keep” the soul, or spirit, or consciousness or whatever it is that we really are. The Scripture is telling us early on, that when the body drops to the Earth (death) that our color group, ethnic within color group and gender are the first things to immediately dissolve back into the Earth. So why all this fuss and the using of major portions of lifetimes, searching for who was what color? Remember Lot’s wife looking back with yearning, brought the whammy down on herself. Lot’s wife is the second caution of the Creator that teaches us that our first priority is to find salvation and eternal life in Christ. The third caution is the throwing of the Israelites into all of the colors and ethnics of humanity; this tells us that our ethnic and color are not very important, so it doesn’t matter if the original Israelites were Smurf blue with Ronald McDonald heads, they can be any color now, that means black, white, or any color between black & white.
